During the first wave of COVID in 2020, we started off to democratize education. The underlying thought was simple: how do people who do not speak English take those amazing free open courses by Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, etc.
Of course, we could get volunteers to dub them (like TED), but that solution was time-consuming, involved a lot of coordination, relied on people’s goodwill, and definitely not scalable. This is why we decided to solve them using technology.
We are building Canva for Dubbing. There are four extremely hard problems we solve at scale.
